VEDIC EDUCATION
we are giving importance to three additional aspects:
1) Imparting timeless wisdom derived from Vedic literatures (specifically Bhagavad Gita, Ramayan&SrimadBhagavatam) &apply this wisdom to remain stable even in difficult situations.
2) Building strong & inspiring character to face life’s challenges.
3) Cultivating appropriate behavior so that students can become role models for the entire society.
The students of gurukul are more disciplined and organized. They are taught to follow a well- planned schedule in school. The students are more focused and possess more concentration power than normal students. This is because they are trained through techniques such as meditation which enhances their focusing power.
Overall the idea of inculcating a Gurukul system in Indian education is just to assist the children in understanding the concept of a balanced life. This very ideology of balance should be taught to the kids from a young age so that they make informed decisions about work, food, exercise and the way they wish to live there life.
